What are my rights as a renter in COLORADO as far as having overnight guests?
Question by Gina Donahue: What are my rights as a renter in COLORADO as far as having overnight guests?
I have a landlord who is EXTREMELY nosey. Everytime he sees someone leaving or coming to my apartment he asks them why they are there…if they are staying with me, etc. In my lease it states no other persons shall occupy the residence other than myself and my two children. But does this include an occasional overnight guest? Does my landlord have a right to question me or my guests?

In VA if the lease does not forbid overnight guests, there is nothing a landlord can do if they failed to address it in the lease.
Obviously they can ask questions; and anyone can just smile and walk on. How long do you plan to live there?
